Alerting service - urgent news immediatly delivered
Severe weather, terrorism warnings, flight cancellations: extraordinary situations can cause great damage and chaos. At times like these, pulling strings and reacting fast are very important, in order to prevent a worst case scenario.
No matter which event hits your company, the GTC alerting service makes sure that your information reaches its destination directly and right away – via e-mail, fax and/or SMS – just by pushing a button!
Alerting via fax
Incoming e-mails get easily lost in the crowd; on that account a fax will definitely gain more attention in daily office life. A fax is therefore ideally suited for alerting messages to companies and civil services.
It will be read directly, and it can’t be accidently deleted.
Alerting via e-mail
An e-mail is the best option, if you want to provide your recipient with pictures or documents to the event. All relevant information can be sent right away, so that all recipients are instantly aware of what’s going on. Due to link tracking and the recording of opening rates, you know exactly which recipient opened your e-mail and when. (Requirement: the recipient’s permission).
Alerting via SMS
Recipients, who aren’t present locally, can be perfectly reached via SMS. The transmission is carried out with the sender ID of your choice – with your own sender ID, so that recipients can reply or call back. You can also define a fix text, letting your recipients know that it’s an alerting message from you.
The entire alerting process will be completely documented, so that you get access to detailed information after the transmission – in general via the secured website or within the scope of fully automated connections (e.g. via web service) also in other individual forms.
The transmission report provides the following information:
- Starting time
- Transmission status (SMS and e-mail including all provider feedbacks)
- If requested: recording of the opening rate (e-mail)
- If requested: Link tracking information (e-mail)
