You might need: Original Windows Software CD (It is a standard windows driver – so usually its already on your computer after Windows Vista Installation)
Printer: Dell 3100 PS
Please follow these steps:
- Button START
- Printers + Faxmachines
- Add Printer
- Local Printer (do not mark "Plug+Play-Printer automatically")
- Select "File"
- Producer: Dell
- Type: Dell 3100 cn PS (doubleclick)
- Attention: Make sure to choose the "PS" version
- Install - Insert CD if required
- If you like, you can change the name of the printer from Dell 3100 cn PS to any other name like e.g. "faxbroadcast-printer"
- Layout - Paper/Quality
- Select black/white
- Select Advanced and set settings as follows:
- Postscript - Ausgabenoptionen: Archivformat
- Postscript - Level: 1
- Press "O.K."
Please test your installation by sending a testfax.
