Hints for requesting declaration of consent
The usual method to build up an own e-mail list is to integrate a function to enrol and sign off for newsletters on your website.
In order to inform as many as possible recipients fast and cost effective, we recommend to ask for a permission of e-mail reception at any contact - for instance within your advertising letter/advertisements or trade fair activities.
An additional field, which can be marked with a cross can easily be integrated in your written reply. Please consider to ask for the name of the person, who grants the permit.

Obtaining declaration of consent via letter:
In order to build up a large database, we recommend a multi-level approach: Send out a letter, which gives the recipient the opportunity to grant a permit for fax reception. Please consider the following points and your mail will be successful:
1. | The letter informs on e-mail broadcast and its advantages. The adressee should find out that information via e-mail dispose of added value (e. g. up-to-date news, special offers, which are maybe only offered via e-mail). |
2. | We recommend to ask for the actual e-mail adress and the name of the relevant person. |
3. | An enclosed tombola combined with attractive prices or a little gift as a token of your gratitude increases the response rate. |
4. | It should be pointed out that the given declaration of consent can be cancelled at any time. |
Creating your commercial e-mail regarding regulatory framework: In each e-mail should be stated explicitly that this e-mail is transfered to recipients with Opt-In. In addition in each e-mail the recipient should have the possibility to withdraw easily (e.b. by clicking on a link) from the list. Therefore the arising expenses may not be higher than usual transmission costs (no expensive service numbers)!
