GTC dispatch of documents: Information on regulatory framework

Transmission of order confirmations, delivery documents, dunning letters can be realised cost effective and fast via fax or e-mail. Please consider that in case of a legal dispute electronical documents are not completely legally binding. An electronical document is only regarded as indication and not as peace of circumstantial evidence (However even in case of postage the burden of proof lies with the sender). In order to avoid problems, we recommend to send documents, which could be essential (e.g. pre-collection letter) via registered mail. All other documents can be send electronically.

Transmission of invoices differs to broadcasts of confirmations, offers, dunning letters and so on. According to pre-tax allowance electronical invoices have to be provided with a digital signature. Both faxes and e-mails can be signed digitally, even by a service provider.
